Q: What is a "Sale" vs a "Transaction"?
A: In Salesmaster the term "Sale" refers to the active checkout flow (what you create at the register). A "Transaction" is the stored record of a completed Sale (searchable in the Transactions screen / history).
Q: How do I print receipts?
A: Connect thermal printer, next after a sale complete you would see print receipt option to print your receipt, also you can enable auto print option in thermal printer settings to make receipt auto printed after sale completed.
Q: How do I connect a thermal printer?
A: Open Settings → Thermal printer and scan or select the device. Configure printer setting like encoding, device dots, paper width, etc.
Q: How can i automatically open cash drawer after print receipts?
A: Enable auto-open drawer in thermal printer setting if your printer supports it, and make sure cash drawer is connected with your printer.
Q: Can I export my reports or customers?
A: Yes — Reports pages support CSV export for monthly and yearly reports. Also you can export CSV for your customers.
Q: What payment methods are available?
A: Salesmaster includes a built-in Cash method. You can create custom payment methods (card, e-wallet, etc.) from Business → Payment Methods.
Q: How does stock get updated when I make a Sale?
A: If stock tracking is enabled, each completed Sale consumes stock based on the item quantity used on the Sale screen. Stock consumption follows FIFO when stock receipts exist.
Q: Is my data backed up if I delete my account?
A: No. When you delete your account through Settings → Account (show more → Delete account), you type confirm in the popup and permanently delete all data. Back up or export anything you need before deleting your account.
