5.2 Legal Requirements

If Salesmaster is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
6. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored on servers located in Singapore and Germany. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these countries. For transfers of EU/EEA data outside the EEA (e.g., to Singapore), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, or request deletion, we retain residual data for up to one (1) year to comply with tax, accounting, legal, and dispute-resolution obligations, after which it is permanently deleted or anonymized.
8. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete — request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
