Business configuration

This page describes the Business Configuration settings (Business > Business configuration) where you set global options for your Salesmaster store.

Settings you can configure​

Business Configuration

1) Item image ratio​

  • Controls how item images are displayed.
  • Common options:
    • 5:3 — wider horizontal thumbnail.
    • 6:5 — slightly taller thumbnail.
    • Square — 1:1.
  • Pick the ratio that matches your product photography and front-end layout. Changing the ratio may crop or re-scale existing images in the UI.

2) Currency settings​

  • Currency code — the ISO currency code (for example: USD, EUR, IDR).
  • Currency symbol — the character shown on prices (for example: $, €, Rp).
  • Symbol placement — choose whether the symbol appears Before (e.g., $10.00) or After (e.g., 10.00$).
  • Decimal separator — choose how decimals are shown (dot "." or comma ",").
  • Group (thousands) separator — choose how thousands are grouped (comma "," or dot ".").
  • Decimal precision — number of decimal places to show (e.g., 2 for cents).

Notes and warnings

  • Changing currency or separators affects how prices are displayed across the site and on receipts — review pricing and sample receipts after making changes.
  • Some reports or integrations expect a specific format; verify external systems after adjusting currency settings.

3) Date format​

  • Choose the date format used throughout the app (examples: YYYY-MM-DD, DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY).

4) Country & region​

  • Set your business country/region.

5) Languages​

  • Select the apps's primary language.
